What is a Movie?

Movie is an art form that combines all the elements of cinematography, editing, sound/music, acting, and story to create something that is beautiful to watch and has more than just entertainment value. Great movies have the ability to make you feel, and can even change your perspective on a subject matter by delivering a message that is not only impactful but stays with you.

Movies come in many genres and are a great way to spend an evening with friends or family. You can talk about the story, characters and settings. You can also look at the director’s style and how the different aspects of a movie work together.

The term movie describes content that is longer than ten minutes and can be seen in theaters or on TV. Film is the term for content that is shorter and can be seen on a computer or online.

The first movie in the Harry Potter series tells the tale of a boy wizard who finds his footing as he battles the evil Voldemort for seven more films.
