What is a Movie?

A movie is a motion picture that shows images on a screen. It is one of the most important forms of art because it can tell a story and make people feel something, like fear or happiness. Movies usually have creative elements in them, such as the writing, music/sound effects and cinematography (the way the camera is moved around the set). When these things are well done it makes for a good movie. A great movie is one that has all of these things and more, such as a meaningful message or iconic character.

There are many different types of movies, such as dramas (stories about real life events) and romantic comedies (stories about two people who fall in love). Science fiction movies are ones that use science to create a fantasy world where humans can do things that can not be done in real life. Action movies are movies that have a lot of fights and chase scenes in them. Family movies are stories that are okay for children to watch and tell a story about families.

One of the most influential sci-fi movies of all time, Back To The Future teaches us about time and what it means to keep going even when you’re tired or have lost hope. Multiple characters, including Marty McFly and his father George, the scientist Doc Brown, and even the busboy at the diner, Goldie Wilson learn this lesson. It’s a great lesson for all of us to remember and one that we can always learn from again and again.
