Bangkok Day 5: Massage | Departure

We always love massage in Bangkok, it’s good and so cheap that we can do it everyday! But with a kid and no one else to help us to take care, massage became a little dream that’s so near yet so far. But…. what is a trip to Bangkok without a good proper authentic Thai Massage! A few streets down Armari Watergate is the popular Number One Massage (as googled). So we went with an empty stomach for massage first day in the morning!

Phetchaburi Soi 15 | 9:30AM–12AM

It was about 10 minutes walk from Amari Watergate Hotel, just straight down the same stretch of street.

Google Maps is my favourite when it comes to organising trips. Just too convenient to note down all the places you want to go! The whole area is so full of massage parlours, you will be spoilt for choice. Since we already know which one we are looking for, we didn’t waste much time choosing.

When we reached at 9.30am, the place already has customers. I opted for full body massage while Daddy E took foot massage. And so Baby E gets her iPad on the empty seat next to Daddy while I went into one of the covered area for my full body massage. It must be the most satisfying hour in the whole trip to Bangkok! While we have had many massages in Thailand/Malaysia before, this was one of the best massage we had, not kidding.

So is it worth going?
If you are at Pratunam area, you should definitely go! It’s the same 250 baht everywhere, but why not settle for the best!

Too soon we had to leave, and the hotel staff kindly helped us to call a taxi. Remember we paid 750 baht upon arrival (Don Mueang Bangkok Thailand) to Amari Watergate? Well, the metered taxi costed us a grand 200 baht. So we were ripped 550 baht!

And a little surprise at Departure Hall.
